The American Sickle Cell Anemia Association or ASCAA, is an organization that provides quality and comprehensive services through diagnostic testing, evaluation, counseling, education and support to individuals and families at risk of Sickle Cell Anemia. The ASCAA is a non-profit 501(c)3 located in Cleveland, Ohio. Founded in 1971, the ASCAA is the oldest sickle cell research, education and social services organization in the United States.
